School Assistance this month (April 2022) for Suci is IDR 175,000 additional IDR 100,000 to support her family during the COVID-19 situation, and IDR 300,000 for a special event - Photographed by Riche collections
First of all, Happy Easter!🐣🐇 Today I am going to share a beautiful news from Ichikraft Give and Care! Yes, the 3 children who have been receiving school assistance monthly from us had taken their money. However, April 2022 is different from another month before!😉

On 19 April 2022 evening, I got a message from Riche that Suci and Novi came to her house and had received their monthly money from us. Meanwhile, Uun; Riche assume that she would come in the next day as she attended an event in her evening school. But she made it this noon (22 April 2022). As I mentioned before in another article that Uun attends 2 schools which are public school (from morning until noon) and evening school. In general, evening school starts from about 3.30 PM or 4 PM until 6PM to 9 PM (it depends on class level and events). I admire Uun who has the courage to enroll in two schools at the same time. Compare to two others, Suci and Novi, Uun's academic record is average, however, she has tried her best to find skill or talent in her. As I mentioned in another article that she was in a volleyball club and her team got the 1st prize in the competition. Having a full plate and cram schedule, Uun has always been busy. You can imagine, while other children at her age keep busy with social media (update status, posting pictures) and have always kept their smartphones with them, and also wandering around without purpose, meanwhile Uun has never taken a rest to study for a better future by taking two schools at the same time. I can feel it is a hard time for a girl at her age. However, someday her hard work will be worth it.👊🌞 Like Uun; Suci, and Novi, both are working hard for a better life. Yeah, Novi will attend high school this year! I am excited and keep going, girls!🤩🚀

School assistance for this month (April 2022) is IDR 175,000 each, and IDR 100,000 each to support their family due to the COVID-19 situation. Furthermore, this April 2022, my husband and I decided to give IDR 300,000 each for a special event so their family is able to buy chicken meat and buy cookies or make it. Let these children and their families celebrate a special event like others.🤗 If you saw the picture, the kids (Uun, Suci, and Novi) got their dresses that had been ordered last month. Once in a while, let them have a nice pretty dress with good material.😊 They feel happy, and so am I!😊 Each dress has a different price even though I gave them IDR 300,000 each for their dress budget; Uun's dress price is IDR 268,000, Novi's dress price is IDR 248,000, and Suci's dress price is IDR 249,000.

As I will be busy for the next several months ahead, I might not be able to write articles. Hopefully, I have spare time sometimes because I love writing!🤗 Yeah, at least until December 2022 we will settle down; but I guess it is just the beginning to walk on my dream path!🤞🚀 Ganbattekudasai!💪🌞
Thank you for reading my article. Stay safe, keep healthy, and take care!🖐😊

School assistance for Uun this month (March 2022) is IDR 175,000 and IDR 100,000 to support her family due to the COVID-19 situation - Photographed by Riche's collection
Welcome back to Ichikraft Give and Care! Today I want to share our good news which is to make our day a lot of smiles and feel happy. Three children who have received our school assistance got their money.
School assistance for Suci this March 2022 is IDR 175,000 and IDR 100,000 to support her family due to the COVID-19 situation - Photographed by Riche's collection
Last Sunday night (20 March 2022), I got a message from my dearest friend, Riche, that all the children (Uun, Suci, and Novi) came to her house and got their monthly assistance from us. If you are following our update, there is a reason why the kids have to come to Riche's house each month to get their assistance's money. Yeah, since Riche got pregnant, she decided to not travel much as the village road is in bad condition to reach those children's houses. Nowadays, her baby boy has grown much and healthy. I am glad about it!🤗 I guess, it is not a big deal if I am in these children's position; coming each month to get school assistance is something much more excited because they can buy school stuff directly after it. Who knows; it could be a notebook, pencil, pen, drawing book, eraser, et cetera. For you who live in a comfort zone, those school stuff is nothing, however, for those children who are come from a low-income family, they need to think carefully before buying them as every day the family fight to survive.
School assistance for Novi this month (March 2022) is IDR 175,000 and IDR 100,000 to support her family during the pandemic - Photographed by Riche's collection
Same as a month before, Novi, Uun, and Suci, received IDR 175,000 each for their school assistance. In addition, IDR 100,000 each, we gave them to support their family during this COVID-19 situation. Special March 2022, I made a decision to buy a pretty dress for them. With the help from Riche's hands to find the dress since Riche has a garment business, my wish has come true! You know what, I let the kids choose the dress they want!🌞🎇😊 Yes, I want to give them not only a pretty dress but a good quality. Hopefully, they would happy!✌🙂

Why do I buy a dress for Uun, Suci, and Novi? In the past, after my family was financially broke, my father could not afford to buy a dress for me even the cheap one. I used to ask my father for anything I desire, and he bought it for me even if a silly and weird thing.😄 Since I was in grade 6, I became a quiet girl, had never asked anything including a pretty dress for a special occasion. At that rough time, nobody asked me whether I had a pretty dress for the special event and bought one for me, no they didn't. I found out it was hurt considering that some of the family members lived in good shape yet they did not much help. I mentioned in my article on The Journey of Ichi's Family that my clothes from grade 3 was still fit in me when I was in my third year of secondary school. What does it mean? It means is that I did not have any clothes to wear and had never bought new clothes frequently; luckily, I had never grown much. That time, buying a pretty dress was just a dream. One of my grandmas was the one who gave me fabric each time, and my other grandma had also given me fabric before she passed away. Whenever she traveled and came back home directly she visited me and gave this special merchandise, 1.5 meters or 2 meters fabric for me so that I could have a new dress for a special event. Although I did not like the fabric texture, colors, the pattern I could not make a complaint and received it with full grace. Since sixth grade, I had started to design my own clothes before sending the fabric to a neighborhood tailor. I have believed, it had a reason for something happening in my life. If my father did not broke, I wasn't able to do design and as result, I am interested in designing things such as handmade ribbon flowers and cat collars). So, yes, because I had a hard time in the past where I could not have a pretty good quality dress, I made a decision that I want to buy a dress for those children this month!✨

School assistance for Novi this month (February 2022) is IDR 175,000 and IDR 100,000 to support her family during the pandemic - Photographed by Riche
February...are you celebrating Valentine's day? Although it is not my culture, I would like to say "Happy Valentine's Day to all of you...Spread happiness and be kind to others!"🤗 So, I have good news in this lovely month that the 3 children who have received our help took their monthly assistance yesterday. I am glad and relieved they are in good shape because I have always worried about their condition during this unprecedented event (the COVID-19 situation).

Last night, I got a message from my dearest friend, Riche, she informed me all the children, Uun, Suci, and Novi, came together and received their February 2022 school assistance. If you are following our update each month, you would notice this month Uun appeared with 2 other kids, Novi and Suci. For sometimes, Uun has attended another activity which is another class in the evening. For this reason, she has come alone without 2 others when taking the school money at Riche's house. This time is different, Uun looked have spare time and made it come together.

I was also excited about another news that Riche provided me. The exciting news is that Novi has made a decision on where she would go after graduating from secondary school this year. Riche told me that Novi will enroll in a particular high school; in Indonesia, we call it SMK. There is 2 type of school that we can enroll in after secondary school in Indonesia. First is high school which we call SMU, second is SMK; I think it is a similar polytechnic in Singapore. Unlike high school (SMU) where the students study broad subjects, SMK offers some specific programs that students can choose from the first year, for example, computing, cooking & baking, business, finance et cetera. My thinking is that maybe Novi wants to skill something so that she will be able to find a job after graduating from SMK. To be honest, my hope, I hope she has an opportunity and chance to study at a university and hold a degree. However, I think her decision is a good one because she has thought about what she wants to do next. Having one particular skill is essential to have a better life in the future. And the school is the place where we can learn and master that skill. That is why I have believed that "School is a passport to get a better future, bring us from nowhere to somewhere."

This month, these 3 children received IDR 175,000 each for their school assistance, and IDR 100,000 each to support their family due to the COVID-19 situation. Although this year looks the COVID-19 crisis much better where people are able to adjust to the situation because mostly taking vaccination, I am still willing to give them additional money to support their family life, as I mentioned before at least with IDR 100,000 they can use it for buying rice since rice is a staple food in Indonesia.

Many thanks to my lovely friend, Riche, who has helped me to distribute the money for those children. Without her, it is virtually impossible to reach them as I live abroad. I need a hand to find some villager children who have eager to stay in school. Actually, it is not always children from the place I come from. I had asked some of my friends who live in other provinces before for instance in East Java, Sulawesi, and Jambi. However, doing social work that definitely has no money in it and no publicity, well not everyone wants to do it and not everyone can do it either. As a result, only a friend who lived in West Java and 2 from my provinces have the same thought. Today, only one left, Riche. In West Java, my friend passed away so the library project and school assistance had been stopped. The consequence was 3 smart children in West Java had no longer received our assistance. One friend from my province (before Riche joins it), she decided to end her work with us in this project which meant one kid at that place was no longer receiving our school assistance; I was sad that time because that girl is smart and she graduated from primary school that time (2007) and enrolled secondary school. Sometimes, I still wonder how are they up to, I wish I could still help them. But nothing I can do.

Time flies soo fast, we are in 2022 now! Happy New Year to all of you, may your dream come true, do not give up, and keep working on it. For me, a new year with an old dream!😊 To start my year in 2022, I would like to share a happy moment that I hold. Yes, the 3 children who receive our school assistance monthly got their school assistance money a few days ago.

Nowadays, I have been busy with soo many things so I rarely write articles on my blogs or even just check them. But this is a monthly update that I must do as I dedicate myself to this project, Ichikraft Give and Care, where I want to break down the wall that stands in front of children who live in poverty to get an education. The aim is to break the circle and with hope, these children are able to get out of poverty by staying in school. I have believed, school is a passport to get a better life in the future, bringing us from nowhere to somewhere.
School assistance for Suci this January 2022 is IDR 175,000 and IDR 100,000 to support her family due to the COVID-19 situation - Photographed by Riche's collection
If you have followed our update, basically, Uun, Novi, and Suci, would come to Riche's house at the day. Yeah, usually, they wanted to get their assistance money together. However, as they grow up, they have something else to do, as result, one of them, Uun, takes a separate way and comes alone the next day after the two children, Novi and Suci came. Therefore, Riche sent a message on Thursday night last week (20 January 2022) that Novi and Suci have just taken their money. On the next day (21 January 2022), I got a message from Riche that told me Uun received her school assistance money.

How much school assistance that Ichikraft gives to these children? As all of them sit at the same level which is a secondary school, each got IDR 175,000 for their school assistance, and IDR 100,000 each to support their family during the Covid-19 situation. Yeah, for me, I am still willing to give additional money to support these children's families. At least, they can use it to buy rice with this IDR 100,000 since I consider that rice is essential for their basic daily life.

Many thanks to my dearest Riche, I wish the best for her. One thing that I am proud of her is that she has always wanted to upgrade herself. This spirit is something that not everyone wants to do and can do. Besides taking care of her children with a baby boy and dedicating full time to her school that she built years ago, she runs a business as well. Yeah a few years back, leveling up her degree which means taking a Master's is also her aim; she wants to hold a Master's degree. What an amazing person she is.👊💪✨🙂

Welcome to Ichikraft Give and Care Project. Today, I am going to share our good news! A few days ago, my friend, Riche, sent me messages that the 3 children who receive school assistance from us had taken their money that day. So, I felt relief.😊

I have been busy with soo many things, and this situation would last a little longer. And because of it, I hold to write this news. And today, I have spare time to share my happiness. For me, helping others make me happy. Some people think that to assist other people we have to become wealthy first. But in my book, we can give our hand through soo many things, for instance, sharing (give) foods that you cooked to your neighbor who lives in poverty, helping your neighbor children who are unable to pay courses to study, planting flower plants when the flowers bloom your neighbor can smile because of your plants. It sounds great, isn't it?
Suci's school assistance this month (December 2021) is IDR 175,000 and in addition, IDR 100,000 to support her family due to the COVID-19 situation - Photographed by Riche
Nowadays, they are unable to come together to Riche's house to take their school assistance. Novi and Suci are still sticking together, meanwhile the other one, Uun, she can not catch up with those two since she attends evening informal school. Moreover, Uun must attend some events in this particular school. While she enrolls in secondary school, Uun is also studying in this evening class. You can imagine, she must be very busy. What I can see in her is that if we feel we are average in academics, then we must pursue and work on another thing that will lead us to get a better future one example she might be become a teacher in this evening school after graduating later. It sounds good, isn't it? I think it is the reason why she takes evening school. Back then when I was her age, I also attended evening school that had been initiated by the local community. Sometimes I had to attend some event until night. However, I chose to pursue my academics which meant my formal education, so I just took a basic knowledge. How about two others, Novi and Suci? Both of them are great in academics. I hope they start to think and make decisions about what they want for their future and have never doubted the ability they have. Sometimes, smart children who live in poverty do not have much support from the environment around them. As a result, they doubt their capability and give up on their dream. That's what I had seen for so many years from primary school to high school. Therefore, I hope these 3 children can embrace the challenge and the hardest part in order to reach a better life in the future.

This month, Novi and Suci came to Riche's house on 20 December 2021 in the evening. Both of them got the same amount of school assistance, IDR 175,000 each and IDR 100,000 each to support their family due to the crisis. Meanwhile, Uun, came in the next day on 21 December 2021 to get her school money. The school assistance she had for this month is IDR 175,000 and an additional IDR 100,000 to support her family during this tumultuous situation.

It's been a while since last month when I published Ichikraft Give and Care article. Today is a good day as I had received the good news that school assistance for three children has been distributed. Something that has always made me smile is where I can share my happiness by helping others. That is the spirit of my life since assisting others has become one of my dreams!😍

Last Sunday, in the morning I got a message from my dearest friend, Riche, who gives me her hands to distribute school money for three children that have been selected by Riche itself. So, what is the requirement to get Ichikraft Give and Care school assistant; first, they are those who live in poverty. Second is the children who are willing to study in school. That is it! If you walk down in the place where I come from, many children drop out; some is because their household income is in low grade, while others reason no matter their family income is in good grade yet there is no spirit to a get degree. Today, I am only able to assist these 3 children. The school assistance money itself comes from our own pocket which means my household income. Hopefully someday when I hold a higher degree and have an occupation that I want with a great income, I will be able to help more villager children. It is the reason why I am still chasing my other dream to get the highest education. A new life with the same dream!🚀🤞 At the same time, I want to give a good role model for these children to not give up as I was also in the same financial situation as them in the past.

This month, school assistance has been distributed at Riche's house on November 21, 2021. Yes, last Sunday Suci and Novi came to get their money together. Meanwhile, Uun, made a visit to the Riche's house the next day or on 22 November 2021 at evening night. You might wonder why Uun has always come alone these days. The reason is that she attends another school (informal) in the evening. This is something that I admire about Uun; although her academics is not outstanding like two others (Suci and Novi), yet she is good in other things one example sport. I mentioned in another article that she joined volleyball in her primary school and her group won the first prize in the competition. And now, she has determined to get something else. Meanwhile, two others; Novi helps her parent in the field crop and still keep maintenance her academic grades. Suci in another hand, she wanted to learn the English language by joining a tuition class. Sadly, the only teacher who had opened the English tuition class closed down the class after getting married. You see, all of them are good kids, and I am proud of them!🤗🤩👍

The amount of money for three children is the same now as all of them attend secondary school. Each got IDR 175,000 for their school assistance. Additionally, each one of them received IDR 100,000 to support their family due to the COVID-19 crisis. Next year, Novi will be going to high school and I am excited about it. However, she hasn't decided yet which high school she chooses. I just want her to continue her study and be able to endure the obstacles she might encounter.

Welcome back to Ichikraft Give and care. Although Ichikraft shop has been closing since 2020, we commit to assisting Indonesian villager children to reach their dream by giving school assistance monthly. I know what we have been doing is only a small thing, however, I have believed that a small act will lead to a big hope. Today is good news where the school assistance has been collected by the 3 children who have received our help for about 6 or 7 years.

2 days ago, my dearest friend, Riche, sent me a message that Novi and Suci came to her home and took their money. Meanwhile Uun, yesterday she just got her money as she was probably busy so that she could not come together with others. I heard from Riche that Uun recently has been busy with activities in the community where she must attend an event in the evening. Because of this reason, Uun would come and collect her money the next day after two others.

I admire these 3 children as it reminds me my old time. Despite the difficulty in their life, they have always held achievements either in academics or another thing. In addition, they are willing to work hard on something. Furthermore, they keep their profile low which is a good sign that someday they would become wise and humble adults. I can say this because I have seen many children who live in poverty who often show off and act like they are rich.

The amount of money for this October is the same as before where three of them got IDR 175,000 for the school assistance. In addition, each of them received IDR 100,000 to support their family due to the COVID-19 situation. Since the COVID-19 struck our world, we decided to give support to those children's families even though just a little. As I mentioned above, a small act that we choose could become a big hope for someone else.
